Fuller and D’Angelo, P.C. Architects and Planners
Amount: $32,500.00
Scope: To provide additional architectural services for Capital Project 10941, “Part 1 of Window Replacement” at Enrico Fermi School. This includes providing Bidding & Negotiation and Construction Administration services.
Overview:
CIP 10941 includes replacement of windows and shades and requisite restoration of interior finishes. The project cost is estimated to be $3.2 million.
Part 1 is for replacement of the school’s windows at the front of the school along Poplar Street and select windows along Linden Street. The construction cost is estimated to be $1.3 million and work is scheduled to start fall of 2025. The remaining windows will be replaced subject to future bond sale.
Bidding & Negotiation and Construction Administration services were deliberately left out under the original request for proposal. Fuller and D’Angelo’s fee to provide these additional services is in the amount of $32,500.00.

WHEREAS via Resolution 18.4 dated May 18, 2022, the Board of Education authorized the assignment for architectural services for CIP 10940, 10941 & 10942, “Window Replacement” at School 9, Enrico Fermi School and Charles E. Gorton High School to Fuller and D’Angelo, P.C. Architects and Planners in the amount of $508,500.00 under Contract 2020-0628, and
WHEREAS Amendment 1 is required for additional architectural services for Bidding & Negotiation and Construction Administration services for CIP 10941, “Part 1 - Window Replacement” at the Enrico Fermi School, and
WHEREAS Fuller and D’Angelo, P.C. Architects and Planners has presented an acceptable proposal to complete this added task at a cost of $32,500.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to issue Amendment 1 under Contract 2024-0872 to Fuller and D’Angelo, P.C, Architects and Planners for $32,500.00, increasing their task amount to $541,000.00.
