Rationale: This contract provides a means to extend by mutual consent of the parties an additional year under the same terms and conditions as bid. This resolution is to authorize the Superintendent of Schools to extend for one year the existing contract No. 615997 with Argyle Motor Works Inc. d/b/a H&C Truck Repair, 801 Nepperhan Ave., Yonkers, NY 10701 for “Truck Repair” which was originally awarded by the Board of Trustees via Board Resolution 17.7 at their stated meeting on October 21, 2015.

Resolution: Ladies and Gentlemen:

WHEREAS: bids were publicly solicited and opened September 9, 2015, in compliance with General Municipal Law for bid no 5956 Truck Repairs in Yonkers Public Schools,

WHEREAS: Board Item 17.7, dated October 21, 2015 was approved awarding a contract to Argyle Motor Works d/b/a H&C truck Repair in the amount of $90,000.00

WHEREAS: bid specifications provide for annual extensions by the mutual consent of both parties under the same terms and conditions of the original contract for up to two years, and

WHEREAS: the contract was extended for the first additional year by Board Resolution 18.2 on October 19, 2016 and

WHEREAS: the administration recommends the extension of this contract for the second additional year from November 30, 2017 through November 29, 2018.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Superintendent of Schools is hereby authorized to extend this annual contract with Argyle Motor Works Inc. d/b/a H&C Truck Repair, at the same terms, conditions and cost of $90,000.00.
