Scope: Edmentum is an online curriculum that offers a comprehensive range of services for Career and Technical Education (CTE) instruction, designed to prepare students for future careers. They emphasize career-connected learning, integrating academic instruction with career preparation through multiyear career pathways, aiming to improve student engagement. Additionally, Edmentum provides a variety of CTE courses and capstones that prepare students for industry credentials and work-based learning programs, all aligned with national and state CTE standards. These services are designed to help students explore career options, gain relevant skills, and achieve their educational and career goals. This will support student learning at the middle school level.

Resolution: WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with Edmentum to purchase services and materials to support Career and Technical Education for the 2025-2026 school year,

WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Edmentum a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,

WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Edmentum to provide these services and materials, and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Edmentum at a cost not to exceed $68,888.75.
