Rationale:
|
This resolution authorize the Superintendent of Schools to execute the subject contract under NYSOGS Contract PT66950 Group 77201, Award 20191. Under this contract ITG Larsen will furnish, install and program 11 new digital cameras to replace 7 failed analog cameras and to cover 4 new locations. This system will be COY complaint and fully addressable for expansion.
ITG Larsen is currently the vendor covering the maintenance of the district wide security systems and equipment and materials supplier to BOE CIP security projects.

Resolution:

Ladies and Gentlemen;
WHEREAS the Yonkers Board of Education desire to continue improving its security systems, and
WHEREAS: the system at VIVE School 10 is in a failed state and requires upgrades and camera replacement, and
WHEREAS: such upgrades are available from ITG Larson through New York State Office of General Service Contract to which the District is authorized to partake, and
WHEREAS: ITG Larson is currently engaged by the District to manage and maintain its security system in compliance with the City of Yonkers requirements, and supply the parts and programming for capital security improvements, and
WHEREAS: the proposal by ITG Larson to furnish, install and program 11 new CCTV cameras under NYSOGS Contract PT66950 Group 77201, Award 20191 for an amount not to exceed $14,783.66 is acceptable and consistent with said contract.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to engage ITG Larson, Inc. 155 Lafayette Avenue White Plains, NY 10603 for CCTV Security System Upgrades at School 10 VIVE via New York State Contract PT66950 Group 77201, Award 20191 in amount not to exceed $14,783.66 for term of 365 calendar days.
