Rationale:
|
PowerSchool, LLC acquired SunGard Public Sector, LLC on or about February 2, 2017, and by letter dated July 11, 2017 has requested permission for the Yonkers Board Education to approve the transfer of all SunGard Accounts and Agreements to PowerSchool, LLC.
Term: JULY 2016 – June 2017
Scope:
On February 2, 2017, SUNGARD Public Sector LLC, (SunGard”) was acquired by PowerSchool Group, LLC (“PowerSchool”). As part of the acquisition, SunGard assigned all customer accounts and agreements (the “SunGard Accounts and Agreements”) to PowerSchool Accordingly, all SunGard Accounts and Agreements are now solely owned and will be honored and serviced by PowerSchool.

WHEREAS at the June 17, 2009, the Board of Trustees approved Board Report Number 09-6-490, for the implementation of eSchool Plus, and,
WHEREAS said implementation was completed and eSchool Plus was successfully rolled out District-wide in September 2010 and continues to be used successfully, and,
WHEREAS PowerSchool acquired SunGard, LLC on or about February 2, 2017, and:
WHEREAS by letter July 11, 2017, PowerSchool requested approval from Yonkers Public Schools to assign and transfer CONTRACT # 615936 to PowerSchool at no additional cost;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Yonkers Board of Schools hereby approves the Assignment of Contract # 615936 from SunGard to PowerSchool, and the Superintendent of Schools is hereby authorized to continue the agreement with PowerSchool to provide eSchool Plus web based student management system at a total annual hosting/maintenance cost of $264,953.00 for the 2016-2017 school year.
