Resolution:

WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to amend a contract with Scholastic Education Services to change the name to Scholastic Inc. This amendment reflects a name change and an updated change of term.
WHEREAS, the district administration has designed in conjunction with Scholastic Inc. a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department;
WHEREAS, that the name "Scholastic Education Services" shall be changed to "Scholastic Inc." in all relevant documents to ensure consistency and accuracy;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to amend an existing agreement with Scholastic Inc. to change the vendor's name and update the contract term, at a cost not to exceed $35,992.00
