Untermyer Garden Conservancy
Term: April 2025 - June 2025
Amount: $12,500
Scope: School field trips to Untermyer Gardens including guided tours and bus transportation. Untermyer Gardens Conservancy will lead tours free of charge for students. Royal Coach Lines will provide bus transportation to and from the garden. This opportunity is available to all schools for a maximum of 21 trips.

Resolution:

WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with the Untermyer Gardens Conservancy to support School field trips to Untermyer Gardens including guided tours and bus transportation for the 2024-2025 school year,
WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Untermyer Gardens Conservancy a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,
WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with the Untermyer Gardens Conservancy to lead tours free of charge for students. Royal Coach Lines will provide bus transportation to and from the garden, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with the Untermyer Gardens Conservancy at a cost not to exceed $12,500.
