Original Term: October 2024-August 2025 Original Amount: $79,499.80 Amendment 1 Amount increase: $13, 842.45 New Total Amount:$93,342.25 Yonkers Partners in Education’s services will provide FAFSA completion services to students and families across the district including young men of color. They will also prepare and review Yonkers Public Schools college readiness, enrollment, and persistence data with relevant audiences, as determined by YPS.

Resolution:

WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to amend contract #2025-00000506 with Yonkers Partners in Education to purchase consulting services to provide FAFSA completion services to students and families across the district including young men of color. They will also prepare and review Yonkers Public Schools college readiness, enrollment, and persistence data with relevant audiences, as determined by YPS for the 2024-2025 school year,
WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Yonkers Partners in Education a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,
WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to amend contract # 2025-00000506 with Yonkers Partners in Education to provide these services, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to amend contract #2025-00000506 with Yonkers Partners in Education at a cost not to exceed $93,342.25.
