Resolution:
|
WHEREAS the State Fiscal Year 2019-2020 Enacted Budget (Chapter 50) includes a reappropriation for additional grants in aid to support operating expenses. This reappropriation will provide a total of $600,000 to the Yonkers City School District,
WHEREAS the grant-in-aid is to be appropriated by the Board of Education pursuant to Subdivision 2 of Section 1718 of the Education Law as amended by Chapter 82 of the Laws of 1995 for the use(s) of 2019-2020 general expenses, and,
WHEREAS on September 10, 2019, the Yonkers City Council approved Special ordinance 2019, which amends the City of Yonkers Board of Education by increasing both State funding for Education Revenues and Basic Operating Expenditures by $600,000, respectively, and,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes all Budget Amendments as listed on the attached document.
