Father Flanagan’s Boys’ Home Term: January 2025-June 2025 Amount: $41,556.50 Scope: The Primary objectives of the Positive Alternatives to Suspensions training are to equip designated staff and administrators with effective skills and strategies aimed at reducing both the frequency and severity of student behaviors that lead to office referrals, higher infraction levels, and out-of-school suspensions. This initiative aligns directly with Milestone 3: Graduation from High School and Milestone 6: Ensuring All Youth Remain Safe From Violent Crimes, reinforcing a commitment to fostering a supportive, safe and inclusive educational environment. |

Resolution
|
WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with Father Flanagan’s Boys’ Home to purchase consulting services to provide training to designated staff and administrators with skills and strategies to reduce the frequency/severity of student behavior that rises to level of office referrals and/or in/out of school suspensions 2024-2025 school year, WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Father Flanagan’s Boys’ Home a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and, WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Father Flanagan’s Boys’ Home to provide these services, and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Father Flanagan’s Boys’ Home at a cost not to exceed $41,556.50 |
