Scope: Provide full day training and support around the NYS Literacy Briefs, including Science of Reading and Research-Based Instructional Practices K-6 Planning with Teaching and Learning Administrators before and after each session. This will be six days at seven hours per day.

Resolution:

WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with Meghan Hargrave, LLC to purchase consulting services to support and provide full day training around the NYS Literacy Briefs, including Science of Reading and Research-Based Instructional Practices K-6. Planning with Teaching and Learning Administrators before and after each session for the 2024-2025 school year,
WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Meghan Hargrave, LLC a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,
WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Meghan Hargrave, LLC to provide these services, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Meghan Hargrave, LLC at a cost not to exceed $19,200.
