WHEREAS in accordance with Education Law, Section 2116-a and the regulations of the Commissioner, Section 170.2 (r), each Board of Education shall secure an annual audit by an independent auditor, and
WHEREAS the firm of O'Connor Davis;LLP, has examined the financial accounts of the Board of Education of Yonkers for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2016, and ending June 30, 2017, and
WHERAS this independent financial report have been submitted and filed in the office of the Finance Department.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the independent financial report and management letter for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2017, as submitted by the firm of O'Connor Davis;LLP be and is hereby accepted.
