Scope: : HV RBE-RN will waive the cost of the instructional material to support the 2018 Summer Bridge Academy at DeHostos School for English Language Learners by providing Yonkers Public Schools with SIFE and Newcomer instructional materials, from the American Reading Company. The total value of the donated materials is $14,900.

Resolution:

WHEREAS the donor, HV RBE-RN, will provide instructional material for the 2018 Summer Bridge Academy to support the SIFE/Newcomer for the 07/5/2018-7/31/2018.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby approves the donation of the HV RBE-RN to Yonkers Public Schools.
It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office.
