Resolution:

WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with Achieve Beyond, Inc. to purchase, on an as needed basis as determined by the School District, therapy and/ or educational services for special education students and families within the School District including Applied Behavior Analysis, Feeing Therapy, Parent Training and/or Counseling, and Staff Development and/or Training for the 2017-2018 school year, and
WHEREAS, these services will assist the District in meeting the needs of its special education students, and
WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Achieve Beyond, Inc. a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and
WHEREAS the District has determined that these research based services can best be provided by Achieve Beyond, Inc., and
WHEREAS the District has evaluated past services from the vendor and has determined that Achieve Beyond, Inc. has performed in a satisfactory manner.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Achieve Beyond, Inc.at a cost not to exceed $53,225.00.
It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office.
