Rationale: This resolution authorize the Superintendent of Schools to execute the subject contract via New York State Contract PT66950 Group 77201, Award 20191.
Under this contract ITG Larsen will furnish, install and program 16 new digital cameras to cover the interior locations in and around the Arena. This system will be COY compliant and be addressable to plug into future security improvements.
The detailed technical design, installation and commissioning of the security system is to be completed by ITG Larsen under NYSOGS contract. ITG Larsen is currently engaged in an annual service contract with the District “Service Contract for Maintenance & Repair of Video Surveillance Systems” and has been the design/install of high tech systems in several CIP’s

Resolution: Ladies and Gentlemen;

WHEREAS the Yonkers Board of Education desire to continue improving its security systems, and
WHEREAS: the system at Yonkers Middle/High School is very limited, and
WHEREAS: it is most prudent for the District to monitor the use of the auditorium and surrounding hallways via the placement of 16 interior grade closed circuit television cameras, and
WHEREAS: such installations are available from ITG Larson through New York State Office of General Service Contract PT66950 Group 77201, Award 20191 to which the District is authorized to partake, and
WHEREAS: ITG Larson is currently engaged by the District to manage and maintain its security system in compliance with the City of Yonkers requirements, and supply the parts and programming for capital security improvements, and
WHEREAS: the proposal by ITG Larson to furnish, install and program 16 new CCTV cameras under NYSOGS Contract PT66950 Group 77201, Award 20191 for an amount not to exceed $32,140.16 is acceptable and consistent with said contract.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to engage ITG Larson, Inc. 155 Lafayette Avenue White Plains, NY 10603 for CCTV Security System Upgrades at Yonkers Middle/High School via New York
