Resolution:
|
WHEREAS, Article 52, Section 2554 of New York State Education Law provides that a school district retains a Claims Auditor, and
WHEREAS, New York Education Law 2116-a3(b) requires that all school districts except New York City “shall utilize a competitive request for proposal process when contracting for such annual audit” with no auditor engaged for a term longer than five consecutive years, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Education issued a Request for Proposal (RFP No. 341B) for Claims Auditor provided for an option to renew by mutual consent, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Education wishes to exercise the option to reappoint Tobin & Company, Certified Public Accountants, PC to perform the duties of Claims Auditor for the Final year of 2020-2021, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Education reappoints Tobin & Company, Certified Public Accountants, PC for an additional year for an amount not to exceed $54,000 annually.
