|
The gutters, portions of the brick façade and vestibule roof of the modular building are in poor condition and in need of repair and maintenance.
RFQ- 6252018, was let for public quotes which were received on July 5, 2018:
AJ CONSTRUCTION: $11,925.00
CORNERSTONE RESTORATION: $ 22,325.00
CAPRY GROUP: $ 27,200.00
KUL CONSTRUCTION: $ 30,705.00
SHERWANI: $ 31,000.00
AJ Construction has inspected the site with BOE Facilities staff and is comfortable with their numbers. They have successfully performed work for the District in the past.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS: bids were issued for public advertisement and opened on July 5, 2018 in compliance with General Municipal Law for RFQ- 6252018, to remove and install new gutters, repair brick façade and damaged sections of the roof
WHEREAS: such quotes were duly examined and as a result of this examination of the quotes submitted, the administration has determined that A& J Construction of NY, Inc, is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder with a bid of $11,925 and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: RFQ- 6252018, “Roof, gutter, brick repair and maintenance” at Martin Luther King, Jr Academy be awarded to A& J Construction of NY, Inc. 163 Foxwood Road, West Nyack, NY 10994 for an amount of $11,925.00 for a term of 180 calendar days.
