Scope: This is an amendment to an existing resolution for Student Information Systems services through PowerSchool. This online system improves the enrollment process by:
• providing the department with the ability to generate accurate enrollment reports that can assist the administration in operating more strategically and efficiently
• increasing security and accuracy of student information throughout the delivery process into the district’s student information system
• enabling the district to cut the cost of resources while decreasing paper consumption

In addition, P-Enrollment benefits the Yonkers’ community greatly, and it provides numerous benefits to students and families including:
• The ability of families to begin the enrollment process on their time, at their convenience, wherever they are.
• a mobile-friendly platform that helps remove barriers and promote equity while simplifying the process, saving families time and frustration
• the ability of families to provide critical safety information such as medical conditions and emergency contacts so district staff is prepared to serve all student needs when it matters most
• easy access to add new student information to existing accounts
• the ability to assist families of students in transition grades in participating to the School Choice Process
