Scope: These professional development sessions will extend participant knowledge and skills from a foundational understanding of trauma informed care to creating trauma responsive educational environments for staff and students. Special focus will include understanding the connection of these concepts to those experiencing housing insecurity.

Resolution: WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with Coordinated Care Services, Inc (CCSI) to purchase consulting services to support participant knowledge and skills from a foundational understanding of trauma informed care to creating trauma responsive educational environments for staff and students for the 2024-2025 school year,

WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with coordinated Care Services, Inc (CCSI) a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,

WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Coordinated Care Services, Inc (CCSI) to provide these professional development services, and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Coordinated Care Services, Inc (CCSI) at a cost not to exceed $8,200.
