Scope – At the April 20, 2016 Stated Meeting the Board of Trustees approved Board Report 15.1 for the Award of a Fixed Asset Inventory Tracking System and Related Services to Barcoding, Incorporated. The awarded contract with Barcoding was a three year agreement, priced out for five years, with the option for two additional 1 year extensions at the District’s discretion. The District would like to exercise the first one year extension to the agreement, May 1, 2019 – April 30, 2020. Barcoding will continue to provide the District with the physical inventory of all assets and the necessary licensing, maintenance and support of eQuip, the Fixed Asset Tracking system, and related services. Should the District decide to exercise the second one year extension, a Board Resolution will be submitted during the 2019-2020 school year for approval.

WHEREAS the original contract was for three years with the option to extend for two additional one year periods. The District is seeking to exercise the first option of extending the three year agreement for one additional twelve month term, at this time, based on the pricing approved in Board Report 15.1 which included pricing for five years. Should the District decide to exercise the second one year extension, a Board Resolution will be submitted during the 2019-2020 school year for approval, and,
WHEREAS Barcoding, Incorporated will continue to provide the District with the Fixed Asset Tracking System and Related Services for the period of May 1, 2019 – April 30, 2020.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Yonkers Public Schools hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to extend the current agreement with Barcoding, Incorporated for a twelve month term to include the period of May 1, 2019 – April 30, 2020. This extension exercises the Yonkers Public Schools’ first of two options of two additional twelve month term extensions, at a cost of $156,110.00 for both the physical inventory control services and the licensing, maintenance and support of eQuip, the Fixed Asset Inventory Tracking system.
