Rationale:
|
Policy proposals were solicited by the District’s broker Nausch, Hogan and Murray. Greenwich Insurance Company provided the most advantageous proposal at 18.67% reduction from the expiring policy. 14 other companies were approach and AIG, Western World, Ironshore, QBE submitten the quotes which were in excess of Grenwich Insurance Co. Other companies decline to offer a proposal due to requested limits, or not being in the market for the coverage.

Resolution:
|
WHEREAS; the Administration wishes to award the District’s School Leaders’ Educators Management and Employment Practices Liability Insurance Coverage for the fiscal year 2018-19, and
WHEREAS, the proposals were obtained by the Boards insurance broker, Nausch Hogan and Murray and have been reviewed by the Legal Department for the Yonkers Public Schools, and
WHEREAS: Greenwich Insurance Company submitted a proposal which is most advantageous for the District and meets all of the Yonkers Public Schools specifications and requirements.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the District’s School Leaders’ Educators Management and Employment Practices Liability Insurance Coverage be awarded as follows:

Seaview House, 70 Seaview Ave.
Stamford Conn. 06902
Total $86,280.00.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to purchase District’s School Leaders’ Educators Management and Employment Practices Liability Insurance Coverage from the above mentioned firm through our insurance broker, Nausch, Hogan and Murray, Inc.
