WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with SAS Institute, Inc. to purchase license software to perform an extensive array of data and programming tasks that include data analysis, statistical tests, assessment scoring, assessment reporting to schools, and state accountability reporting for the 2025-2026 school year, WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with SAS Institute, Inc. a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and, WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with SAS Institute, Inc to meet the challenges of building and editing New York State data warehouse submissions, and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with SAS Institute, Inc. at a cost not to exceed $12,918.00.
