Scope: Adrienne Sanders Kaye will provide and implement communications strategies for the My Brother’s Keeper Initiative, and support other designated grant initiatives as well as districtwide initiatives in collaboration with the District’s Public Information department.

Resolution:

WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with Adrienne Sanders Kaye to purchase services to provide and implement communications strategies for the MBK initiative and support other designated grant and districtwide initiatives from July 2018 to June 2019,
WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Adrienne Sanders Kaye, a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,
WHEREAS the District has determined that these services can best be provided by Adrienne Sanders Kaye, and,
WHEREAS the District has evaluated past services from the vendor and has determined that Adrienne Sanders Kaye has performed in a satisfactory manner, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Adrienne Sanders Kaye at a cost not to exceed $80,100.
It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office.
