ORIGINALLY SUBMITTED FOR- RESOLUTION ABSTRACT for RFB 6264: FOR MILK AND MILK PRODUCTS-CAFETERIA DEPARTMENT FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2018-2019. FOCUS POPULATION: Students, teachers and employees of the Yonkers City Schools. CONTRACTOR: lowest responsible bidder submitted to the Purchasing Department in compliance with General Municipal Law. INCREASE OF CONTRACT NECESSARY- Due to YPS entering Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) more students participated in the breakfast and lunch program than anticipated. WHEREAS, Milk is a mandatory component of the student meal plan as authorized under the National School Lunch Program. NOW THEREEFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the contract for Milk and Milk Products for School Year 2018-2019 be awarded as follows: Cream O'Land Dairies, LLC 529 Cedar Lane Florence, NJ 08518 TOTAL AWARD: $546,980.70, Includes increase of $48,334.35 AND BE IT FURTHER BE RESOLVED: That the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into a contract with the above named firm.
