Scope: Request to extend Contract 2023-0349 “District-wide Window & Door Glazing Replacement” by 365 calendar days, and increase the contract aggregate by $94,500.00 for continued use to provide on-call window and door glazing services and replacement as needed. This amendment will increase the contract to $309,498.95 and the contract term to 1,095 calendar days.

Resolution:

WHEREAS by Resolution 15.8 dated September 21, 2022, the Board of Education authorized the award of Contract 2023-0349 for “District-wide Window & Door Glazing Replacement” to Suburban Sunrooms, Inc. for $94,500.00 and 365 calendar days, and
WHEREAS by Resolution 15.11 dated October 18, 2023, the Board of Education authorized Change Order 1 for $25,998.95 with no change in term, to facilitate additional recommended district wide repairs, and
WHEREAS by Resolution 16.12 dated November 15, 2023, the Board of Education authorized to extend the contract for the first year (1 of 2 extensions), and
WHEREAS said contract provides for the option to renew by mutual consent under the same terms and conditions for up to two (2) 365 calendar year extensions, and
WHEREAS there is mutual consent of the parties to extend this contract for the second of the two (2) possible extensions.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to extend Contract 2023-0349 for “District-wide Window & Door Glazing Replacement” to Suburban Sunrooms, Inc., by $94,500.00, increasing the contract to $309,498.95 and the contract term to 1,095 calendar days.
