Scope: Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC) is partnering with the Yonkers Public Schools (YPS) to offer services for the NYGear Up Program. The goal of this agreement between the Yonkers Public Schools and the Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC) is to provide funds to sponsor the Student Parent Summit on November 18, 2017 at the Royal Regency Hotel.

WHEREAS, the donor, the Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC), donated $25,000 to support the Student Parent Summit on November 18, 2017 at the Royal Regency Hotel,
WHEREAS the district administration designed in conjunction with the Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC) a program which met the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Education hereby approves the donation of $25,000 to be disbursed to cover all the cost for their services rendered on November 18, 2017.
