FOOD SERVICE DEPARTMENT
RESOLUTION ABSTRACT:
For the purchase of a 2019 Ford F-550 Refrigerated Truck to be used for the delivery of school meals for School Year 2018-2019.
FOCUS POPULATION: Students, teachers and employees for the Yonkers City School District.
ASSESSMENT PROCESS:
The vendor will deliver one refrigerated truck to the Yonkers City School District as specified in Schedule No. RFB-6305
BIDS: Two bids were received and Vance Country Ford at $72,699 is being rejected as non-responsive for submitting conditional pricing.
CONTRACTOR: Lowest, responsible bid submitted to the Purchasing Department in compliance with General Municipal Law.

Re: Award on Ford F-550 Refrigerated Truck for use School Year 2018-2019
Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS, bids for a Refrigerated Truck were solicited on July 6, 2018 in compliance with General Municipal Law and as a result of an examination of the bids submitted, the administration recommends the award to the lowest responsible bidder.
WHEREAS, the Yonkers City School District Food Services Department employs a Commissary/Satellite industry standard model for the daily distribution of school meals and a refrigerated truck is required to transport food in a safe and responsible manner.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the award for the purchase of a Ford F-550 Refrigerated Truck is awarded as follows:
