Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS, bids for Snack Foods, were solicited and opened on April 13, 2018 in compliance with General Municipal Law and as a result of an examination of the bids submitted, the administration recommends the award to the lowest responsible bidders.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the award for Snack Foods, that meet required nutritional standards, for School Year 2018-2019 be awarded as follows:
Mivila Foods $160,829.00
Jay Bee Distributors $66,270.00
Maximum Quality Foods $65,406.00
Cookies & More, Inc. $64,778.50
TOTAL AWARD $357,283.50
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into a contract with the above named firms.
