Scope: FranklinCovey Education will provide training and coaching to staff at the Martin Luther King School during the 2022- 2023 school year. This training will provide administrators, staff and students with strategies to become leaders. The training includes training materials, school leadership team training and classroom lessons to be incorporated into existing curriculum. The program focuses on the 7 habits of highly effective people.

Resolution: WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract FranklinCovey to provide training and coaching to staff at the Martin Luther King School during the 2022- 2023 school year. This training will provide administrators, staff and students with strategies to become leaders. The training includes training materials, school training materials, leadership team training and lessons to be incorporated into existing curriculum focused on the 7 habits of highly effective people,

WHEREAS the District has determined that the services can best be provided by FranklinCovey Education, and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with FranklinCovey Education for a total cost not to exceed $29,814.39.

It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office.
