Amount: $8,000
Scope: Uptown Classics will provide 32 hours of preliminary planning for enrichment programs in the arts for the upcoming year.Agreement to amend existing contract with Uptown Classics, LLC to provide additional performing arts programming to Palisade Preparatory School. This amendment represents an increase of $8,000 due an increase of services being provided and schools being serviced. The second amendment represents an increase of $8,000. The total contract amount will be $77,923.Contract No. 2019-00000725, Original Resolution for $37,000 Res#20.13 BOE approved 2/27/2019 and BOCS approved 3/7/2019. Amendment 1 $69,923 Res #22.24 BOE approved 3/20/2019 and BOCS approved 4/4/2019.

Resolution: WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with Uptown Classics LLC, to purchase consulting services to support preliminary planning programs in the arts for December 1, 2018-August 30,2019

WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Uptown Classics LLC, a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,

WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Uptown Classics LLC to provide these services, and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Uptown Classics LLC at a cost not to exceed $8,000.

It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office.
