To hold the June 20, 2018 and June 24, 2018 graduation ceremonies for Roosevelt High School for Early College Studies, Gorton, Lincoln, Riverside, Saunders and Yonkers High Schools at the Westchester County Center, 198 Central Avenue at the Bronx River Parkway, White Plains, New York.

Resolution:

WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to conduct the graduation ceremonies for Roosevelt High School for Early College Studies, Gorton HS, Lincoln HS, Riverside HS, Saunders HS and Yonkers HS at the Westchester County Center on June 20, 2018 (Saunders HS and Yonkers HS only) and June 24, 2018 (remaining schools listed) and,
WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with the Westchester County Center to host the Yonkers Public Schools Graduations, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with the Westchester County Center at a cost not to exceed $72,000.
It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office.
