Youth Theatre Interactions, Inc.
Term: February, 2018 – August, 2018
Amount: $45,800
Scope: Youth Theatre Interactions, Inc. will provide performing arts instruction to specific populations of students in Scholastic Academy, Enrico Fermi School, School 23 and Gorton High School. The purpose of this instruction is to expose students to the arts, provide an outlet for creativity, and engage students in an activity that will increase their overall wellness and physical activity level.

Resolution:

WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with Youth Theatre Interactions, Inc. to purchase consulting services to support performing arts instruction to students in Scholastic Academy, Enrico Fermi School, School 23 and Gorton High School from February 2018 to August 2018,
WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Youth Theatre Interactions, Inc., a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,
WHEREAS the District has determined that these services can best be provided by Youth Theatre Interactions, Inc., and,
WHEREAS the District has evaluated past services from the vendor and has determined that Youth Theatre Interactions, Inc. has performed in a satisfactory manner, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Youth Theatre Interactions, Inc. at a cost not to exceed $45,800.
It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office.
