Amount: $10,000
MINDSPARK has partnered with Riverside since early 2015. They have provided mentoring opportunities and have participated in a volunteer day at Riverside High School. They are members of CTE Advisory board and have provided invaluable information that have guided the curriculum realignment. In addition, Ptech students have toured their facilities to experience the work at a technology company and the incredible work that they are doing in the world of computer applications and programming.
The donation they are making will be used for the robotics program (small robot). The funds will enable the robotics team to obtain the necessary materials to complete the complex designs to solve the game challenges.

WHEREAS the donor, MINDSPARK, wishes to donate $10,000 to Riverside High School - Yonkers Public Schools, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby approves the donation of $10,000 from MINDSPARK to the Yonkers Public Schools. It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office.
