WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with Monique A. McManus to purchase consulting services to support emergency management consultation for Yonkers Public Schools for the 2024-2025 school year,
WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Monique A. McManus a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,
WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Monique A. McManus to provide consulting services to provide emergency management consultation for Yonkers Public Schools (YPS). The consultant will support YPS in developing and implementing proactive strategies to mitigate security risks, assist with threat assessments, respond to emergencies, and improve overall school safety, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Monique A. McManus at a cost not to exceed $6,600.
