To hold the June 23, 2019 and June 24, 2019 graduation ceremonies for Roosevelt High School for Early College Studies, Gorton, Lincoln, Riverside, Saunders and Yonkers High Schools at the Westchester County Center, 198 Central Avenue at the Bronx River Parkway, White Plains, New York. Westchester County Center Term: June 23, 2019 and June 24, 2019 Amount: $72,000.00

Resolution:

WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to conduct the graduation ceremonies for 4 Yonkers High Schools (schools to be determined) on June 23, 2019 and 2 Yonkers Highs Schools (schools to be determined) on June 24, 2019 at the Westchester County Center and, WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with the Westchester County Center to host the Yonkers Public Schools Graduations, and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with the Westchester County Center at a cost not to exceed $72,000. It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office.
