Amount: $1,104.000.00 (SAME)
Scope: ACDS will not be able to accommodate the additional twelve (12) seats assigned to them on the 1st AMENDMENT TO RESOLUTION due to classroom capacity. THEREFORE, these seats will be award to Catholic School Region of Central Westchester (CSRCW), which will increase their seats from thirty-two (32) to forty-four (44) for the total dollar amount of $264,000.00. ACDS new dollar amount will be six (6) Students=$36,000.00.

WHEREAS, the Yonkers Public Schools wishes to amend the August Resolution #16.3 of the prekindergarten (PreK-4) program to award twelve (12) seats assigned to ACDS to another CBO. To comply our commitment with our students and families collaborating with Community Based Organizations (CBO's) as required by New York State Universal Prekindergarten Regulations, the twelve (12) seats will be assigned to Catholic School Region of Central Westchester (CSRCW), and
WHEREAS, the Yonkers Public Schools awards the seats to CSRCW, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT Yonkers Public Schools hereby awards its Universal Prekindergarten contracts to the following CBO's (listed in rank order from highest to lowest) providing one hundred eighty-four (184) seats for a total dollar amount of $1,104,000.00:
1. St. Peter’s Child Care Center (54 STUDENTS=$324,000.00)
2. Westchester Community Opportunity Program Inc. (44 STUDENTS=$264,000.00)
3. Catholic School Region of Central Westchester (12 Additional Students=$72,000.00)-FOR A NEW TOTAL OF 44 STUDENTS=$264,000.00
4. Rising Ground (Formerly Leake & Watts) (18 STUDENTS=$108,000.00) 5. Andalusia School (18 STUDENTS=$108,000.00) 6. ACDS Westchester-NEW TOTAL OF 6 Students=$36,000.00
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Yonkers Public Schools authorizes the Superintendent to amend the applicable contracts negotiations and agreements with the Community Based Organizations listed above for the 2019-2020 school year.
It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation
