Rationale: Catholic School Region of Central Westchester-AMENDING Resolution #19.15 dated 8.16.2017, BOCS 8.24.2017-Catholic School Region of Central Westchester
Term of Contract: September 1, 2017-June 30, 2018
Scope: Agreement with Catholic School Region of Central Westchester to amend its existing resolution to decrease the amount of seats provided to the Yonkers Public Schools Prekindergarten students. This amendment represents a decrease of $318,000.00 due to a reduction in the number of students serviced. The total contract amount will be $324,000.00.

Resolution: WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to amend Resolution #19.15 dated 8.16.2017, BOCS 8.24.2017 with Catholic School Region of Central Westchester to decrease the amount of seats provided to the Yonkers Public Schools Prekindergarten students. This amendment represents a decrease of $318,000.00 due to a reduction in the number of students serviced. The total contract amount will be $324,000.00. It is responsive to the District’s non-negotiable goal #1: Student Achievement.

WHEREAS this amendment represents a decrease of $318,000.00 due to a reduction in the number of students serviced, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Superintendent of Schools is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with each of the above named organizations for the provision of these services at a total cost not to exceed the amount of $324,000.00 for the 17-18 school year.

It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office.
