Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS: The stage curtains at Hawthorne Pearls School are heavily used as part of the scholastic program and this curtains have deteriorated to the point of being unusable, and
WHEREAS: in compliance with Municipal Law 103 Bid No. RFB-6178 was opened on September 6, 2017
WHEREAS: Bids were duly examined and all due diligence observed in determining the lowest responsive and responsible bidder,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the award for Bid No. RFB-6178 Stage Curtains and Mounting Hardware at Hawthorne Pearls School be made to Young Equipment Sales, Inc., 325 Rabro Drive, Hauppauge, NY 11788. In the amount not to exceed $28,599.54 for a term of 180 calendar days.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Yonkers Board of Education authorizes the Purchasing Agent to issue a purchase order to Young Equipment Sales, Inc.
