My Hands My Tools Term: December 1, 2017 – August 30, 2018 Amount: $16,660 Scope: My Hands My Tools will implement an Environmental Citizen Workshop during the EMPIRE YASA program for grades 3 to 6 in School 9 during the 2017-18 school year. The goal of this hands-on workshop is to teach the students art by transforming everyday rejected or trashed items into artistic items. Resolution:

WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with My Hands My Tools to purchase consulting services to support the implementation of an Environmental Citizen Workshop during the EMPIRE YASA program for grades 3 to 6 in School 9 for the 2017-2018 school year, WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with My Hands My Tools, a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and, WHEREAS the District has determined that these services can best be provided by My Hands My Tools, and, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with My Hands My Tools at a cost not to exceed $16,660.
