Rationale: Amendment to the 2019-2020 School Calendar
Funding:
Resolution: WHEREAS the 2019-2020 School Calendar was adopted by the Trustees of the Yonkers Public Schools on April 24, 2019, and

WHEREAS due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Governor Andrew Cuomo, closed all schools in the state of New York, effective March 18, 2020, implementing Distance Learning for staff and students and cancelling Spring Recess throughout the State, and

WHEREAS as a result of the Governor’s orders to close schools, the New York State Education Department cancelled all State Assessments and Regents.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the 2019-2020 School Calendar be amended to reflect these changes.
