Levels Barbershop, LLC Term: 2018-2019 School Year Amount: $18,270 Scope: Levels Barbershop, LLC will provide services to Yonkers My Brother Keeper students for a Barber Training Program in the following areas: basic haircuts, shaving, ownership of business, customer service, management and safety. Levels Barbershop, LLC is an approved MWBE vendor for the MBK Challenge grant. Services provided will align with grant goals and objectives to prepare students for future careers. Resolution:

WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to enter into a contract with Levels Barbershop, LLC to purchase consulting services to support a Barber Training Program for Yonkers MBK students for the 2018-2019 school year, WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with Levels Barbershop, LLC, a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and, WHEREAS the District has determined that these services can best be provided by Levels Barbershop, LLC, and, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Levels Barbershop, LLC at a cost not to exceed $18,270. It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office.
