Amount: $9,500.00
Scope: Agreement to amend an existing contract Resolution #16.5 BOE Approval 10/16/19 BOCS Approval 10/31/19 to provide support between the Roosevelt High School Early College Studies/Gorton High School program and The College of Westchester (CW) to increase services to students who have not received the academic preparation needed for a smooth transition into post-secondary education. This Amendment represents an increase of $9,500.00. The original approved amount was $17,192.00. The total new contract amount will be $26,692.

Resolution:
|
WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to amend an existing contract with College of Westchester to purchase additional consulting services to support the Roosevelt High School – Early College Studies and Gorton High School learning communities by providing additional services for the 2019-2020 school year,
WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with College of Westchester a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,
WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with College of Westchester to provide these services, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to amend an existing agreement with College of Westchester at a cost not to exceed $26,692.00.
It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office.
