Scope - The Family Services of Westchester will provide
Crisis Intervention to the 3 Rockland classroom at Cross Hill. They will assist teachers and teacher assistants/aides with any escalating behavior of the students within the classroom in order to help the student attain his/her educational potential. They will assist the staff with students who may be disruptive enough to affect the educational process of his/her classmates. Family Services will also facilitate group activities during unstructured times and to present during less structured times in order to prevent crisis (lunch time, gym, dismissal, ets.) Clinicians will run skill groups to proactively provide students with tools to cope with stressors within the classroom and school building. There will be team meeting to discuss concerns, behavior plans, progress, etc. and to communicate with both Rockland teach and Yonkers school staff.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to obtain the services of a Clinical Social Worker to provide Crisis Intervention to students in the Rockland Day Treatment Program, and
WHEREAS the Board has selected the Family Services of Westchester to provide these services for the 2020-2021 school year, at a cost of $95,130.00
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into a contract with the above named provider for the said amount.
