Rationale:
|
Scope: To amend Resolution #18.3, Board approved 9/19/2017 for PowerSchool Group, LLC to include an eSchoolPLUS Family App. This App. will allow Parents to access student information such as activities, notifications, classwork, report cards, schedules and attendance via their mobile phones. The District can choose to provide additional resources, as needed. The cost for the eSchool Family App. is $9503.28. This cost will be added to resolution #18.3 for $264,953 making the amended cost for PowerSchool Group LLC, $274,456.28

WHEREAS the renewal for the Powerschools' hosting and maintenance fees for the 17-18 school year was approved on 9/19/17 and,
WHEREAS a pilot of the eSchoolPLUS Family App. was successfully conducted during the 2016-2017 school year at Yonkers Middle High School.
WHEREAS the amended resolution includes the purchase of the eSchoolPLUS Family App. for parents and students mobile use of the Home Access Center with the goal of going paperless for student report cards by the 2018-2019 school year.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an amended agreement with PowerSchool Group, LLC. at a total cost not to exceed $274,456.28
