Rationale: Procurement via GML104b N.Y.S. Contract PT63104, Award #20191, Group 77201, expiration date August 26, 2020.

This is to continue with Simplex by a new award under NYSOGS contract. It is ni lieu of an extension to provide all services for the testing, service and maintenance of all Fire Alarm Systems in the Yonkers Public School District. All terms, conditions and prices remain the same as last year.

The district is taking advantage of the NYSOGS contract with SimplexGrinnell, LP by re-engaging them for the 2018-19 year. They have worked on for the District in the past having been awarded and completing several contracts both by competitive bidding and through NYSOGS.
Funding: 450.5150.100000.1620.B2300 Local Contractual $196,305.00
Resolution: Ladies and Gentlemen:

WHEREAS: the district is required to maintain operational fire alarms and ancillary equipment, and

WHEREAS: such service is available for procurement from Simplex Grinnell, under New York State Office of General Services Contract No. PT63104, Group 77201, Award No. 20191 for the 2018-19 school year, and

WHEREAS: in accordance with General Municipal Law the administration recommends such procurement under this contract,

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the award for the “Fire Alarm Inspection, Service and Maintenance” be made to Simplex Grinnell, Inc., 54 Commerce Drive South, Harriman, New York 10926 under NYSOGS Contract PT63104 in an amount not to exceed $196,305.00.
