FOOD SERVICES DEPARTMENT RESOLUTION ABSTRACT:
FOR THE ON-CALL COMMERCIAL KITCHEN EQUIPMENT REPAIRS FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2019-2020
FOCUS POPULATION: Students, teachers and employees for the Yonkers City School District.
ASSESSMENT PROCESS:
The vendor will provide repairs and maintenance to commercial equipment, as needed, in Yonkers school kitchens and cafeterias as specified in Schedule No. RFB- 6403
CONTRACTOR: The lowest bid not accepted with rationale submitted to the Purchasing Department states inadequate vendor past performance. Vendor was recalled on several occasions to repair the same equipment previously repaired. Delayed response to emails regarding repairs. Vendor stated capitol not always available to order repair parts. Repairs made and next day oven not reaching temperature.
