Item 17.5 of Board Resolution, dated January 20, 2016, awarded contract 619182 to the above said firm for a contract term of 24 months with an option to extend for an additional 12-months at the same pricing and terms. This Resolution is to exercise the 12-month extension renewal for the above said Contract, extending the contract till January 20, 2019. No additional funding is requested in this Resolution. The renewal is necessary to allocate potential assignments to Eisenbach & Ruhnke Engineering, PC.

Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS: The District has a need for on-going professional architectural and engineering services for the maintenance and improvement of its physical plant, and WHEREAS: such services have been duly solicited in compliance with NYS Municipal Law 104B and the City of Yonkers procurement policy through the issuance of the publicly advertised request for proposal RFP313 “Architectural & Engineering Services for the School Facilities Management Department”, and WHEREAS: Via Resolution 17.5 at their stated meeting on January 20, 2016 the Board of Trustees awarded requirements Contract to Eisenbach & Ruhnke Engineering, PC, for an amount not to exceed $1 million and, WHEREAS: the contract is for a twenty four month term which is to expire on January 19, 2018, and WHEREAS: provisions for a 12 month contract extension are part of the contract, and WHEREAS: all parties are agreed to extend the term by 12 months to a revised completion date of January 20, 2019. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Superintendent of School be authorized to renew the above contract per RFP313 “Architectural & Engineering Services for the School Facilities Management Department” with the firm so listed.
