Resolution:

WHEREAS the Board of Education hereby appoints Andrew P. Levin, M.D., as a School District medical consultant to provide services to the District pursuant to Section 913 of the New York State Education Law; and
WHEREAS Andrew P. Levin M.D. will provide the district with psychiatric examinations as well as testimony at administrative hearings on an as needed basis, for the period of July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with Andrew P. Levin M.D., to provide these services. Dr. Levin’s fee shall not exceed $450.00 per hour for evaluations/examinations and any work related thereto and $3,600.00 per day of testimony. Cancellations with less than 72 hours notice will be charged $900 for examination and $1,800 for testimony. These services should be provided at a cost not to exceed $15,000. The cost of this contract will not have any impact on the Yonkers Board of Education budget.
