Amount: $22,207.00
Scope: Agreement to amend existing contract with EdEquity, Inc. to provide additional consultant services to Roosevelt High School for the 2017-2018 school year to improve educational outcomes of students as measured on the Regents exam and improve graduation outcomes for all students. This is an amendment to existing contract of $60,000.00 approved by the Board on 10/18/17 and BOCS on 10/19/17 and represents an increase of $22,207.00. The total contract amount will be $82,207.00

Resolution: WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes amend contract #2018-00000330 with EDEquity, Inc. to purchase additional consulting services to support improvement of educational outcomes of students as measured on the Regents exam and improve graduation outcomes for the 2017-2018 school year,

WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with EDEquity, Inc. a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,

WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with EDEquity, Inc. to provide these services, and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to amend an agreement with EDEquity, Inc. at a cost not to exceed $22,207.00.

It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office.
