Rationale: The College of Westchester
Term: 11/27/2017 – 06/30/2018 (Extension from Original end date of 04/21/2018)
Amount: N/A
Scope: Amendment to extend the term of the original contract from 4/21/2018 to the PSSG Grant end date of 6/30/2018. This to accommodate the parents of the Roosevelt HS students who are enrolled in the program so they will have the time necessary to complete the program.
Funding: N/A
Resolution: WHEREAS the Board of Education wishes to amend a contract with The College of Westchester to extend the term of the original contract (2018-00000433) from 4/21/2018 to the PSSG Grant end date of 6/30/2018. This to accommodate the parents of the Roosevelt HS students who are enrolled in the program so they will have the time necessary to complete the program for the 2017-2018 school year,

WHEREAS the district administration has designed in conjunction with The College of Westchester a program which meets the objectives set forth by the Board and the New York State Education Department, and,

WHEREAS the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with The College of Westchester to provide these services, and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to enter into an agreement with The College of Westchester at no cost to the district.

It is acknowledged and agreed that pursuant to the terms of that certain intermunicipal agreement by and between the City of Yonkers Board of Education (“BOE”) and the City of Yonkers (the “City”) as filed in the Office of the City Clerk on June 16, 2014, the terms of this agreement are subject to review and revision by the Corporation Counsel, as well as approval by the City’s Board of Contract and Supply. Furthermore, this Agreement shall not be enforceable until signed by both parties and approved by the Corporation Counsel’s Office.
